Did a D race yesterday, I forgot how hard racing is! Tried to keep up with a group of B’s and soon got spat out through the C’s and a couple of D’s and ended up with 3 other D’s. I just sat in the group and outsprinted them at them at the end. Funny how the mind thinks you can do something but the lungs say you can’t

Sounds a bit like "every large race I've ever done in B"

Tomorrow is the queen's stage, 50 miles with two mountain climbs.

I've been following it just like the man's Tour. To be honest, I expect just one firework to go off on Saturday, and a whole lot of duds No reward for guessing who will rocket up the climbs.

Yep watching the women's tour , supporting April Tacey rider 185 wahoo lifeplus team . I went school with her dad and have riden with her a couple of times . I did drop her on a climb but she was riding one handed texting a friend at the time but I will take it 😀

Someone's picked 4 laps of City and the Sgurr as a ladder race next week. That's one banner more than I was able to complete in the 45 minutes of ZRL.

I’m in the tourist hotspot of Costa Adeje on the south side. Just me and the missus so I’ll have to pick and chose my routes wisely. I’ve cycled there once before and I’ll definitely take the spin/grind up to Tiede. Could be icey up at that altitude I’m guessing.

Costa Adeje is nice

It can sometimes, then I've been on top in January and it was lovely and warm. One of my buddies was there and roads were clear but 8ft snow drifts

The Costa Adeje side is nearer to the banana plantations, nice even gradients, very long climbs
