This is the reaction when it doesn't go my way on Zwift

That's why I don't record sound from myself

I've started apologising when I burp
I don't talk that much when I race, but I like to hear the 'fan noise' on the trainer as it gives an extra indication of how hard I'm pedalling.
But the occasional rude comment about another racer or some remarks about how it's going.

It's all kicking off in the chat.

I wouldn't like to watch a recording of me shouting whilst cycling (or driving). It's a good outlet for verbal aggression that does no one any harm

Nope. Late join not in operation for the hill climb thingy. Tell you what though, I kind of want to do it, so I'll race that Richmond stage and then jump into a lonely meetup to log a time against others on here.

I got a PR of 19:12 on Bologna lap 1. I got dropped out of the front group on lap 1 then let the few following riders catch me and managed to beat most of them on climb 2. Horrible course. I went out a bit too hot on the climb on lap 1 trying to stick with the fast kids.

14th overall. Not that great but at least got the PR.

He's not a cruiser in the true heavyweight sense, and he's not light enough to have been taking advantage of the wattage floors that benefitted light riders, but he's definitely a B rider with a good punch who hasn't been entering long or hard enough races to get high-powered efforts over longer time periods.

Sandbagging twat.

I didn't know he was a B cat rider. He's extremely light, floats along, then drops a decent sprint

You can tell he's cruising when his HR average is 20-30bpm lower than peak even for short tiny sprint events.

Definitely a rider who has slipped through the category net

His Tiny Race 1 on Saturday probably put him over the zMAP limit for B (5.5 minute power of 267w / 64.6kg is 4.13. Threshold is 4.1) but as he was already signed up for the other races was allowed to proceed in C. He's a B now though. No foul play here as far as I can see. The comment is wrong, but still funny as he deserves it for being a twunt. (Edit to add: he had 6 subscribers earlier. Now down to 5.)

Don't underestimate how much drafting and power-ups help on a climb like this, though...
Just looked at my PB for the Epic KOM - 21:49, set in the Tour of Watopia with a bit of drafting at an average of 305W. To achieve that time without draft, ZwifterBikes tells me I'd need an average of 349W. That would be a 22-minute CP best by 26W for me (i.e. not gonna happen).

That's an epic PB. I don't think I ever went all-out on the Epic Forward. I did smash it in Reverse, in free ride, for a time of 19:56 - 270W and my second-best 20 min. power to date (https://www.strava.com/activities/8714921529).

Probably hottest day of the year so far is here. Just finished nearly 2hr ride and avg. temperature was +33°C and couple locations where I had a short break was +38°C 🥵. Garmin says heat acclimation is now 23%.

Ah keep trying to jump on 20 min crit races but due to daughter waking twice had to join a random race with 5 c riders (3 of whom finished and only 2 of us on zwiftpower). Was fun though, no HUD makes things interesting, particularly when not sure where finish line is.

Was fun using the steering as a psychological weapon - hanging off the back then slingshoting past on hairpins with a big dig just to be annoying.

It was 25 here last week and that was too much for me
