How about we do a little Tour de Splitters? Steering team vs non-steering team

Since I've lost all that power fixing the Atom, I'm barely a D cat .... so the non-steerers are buggered

I seem to remember testing it in normal riding and it was fine. What seemed to cause the issue was lots of riders (I've just remembered). So maybe if you want to test that, could try a pace partner ride (or whatever they're calling them this week )
I wasn't able to recreate the dropouts today. Tried spectating myself with the other account, first using the same WiFi, then, disabling WiFi and using the mobile network. No dropouts. Maybe it happens just in events, or is limited to Makuri?

Be interesting to see what happens in a race again.
Yeah, maybe I'll try it in one of the hill climb thingys? That way, if dropouts start again, I can take my sweet time to switch the spectator off, before the timed bit.

By the way, got one of those 'week ahead' emails from Zwift. It mentions the 'e-sports' Olympic competition and Zwift. I heard about that before, but noticed that it talks about 'unique courses' - wonder what's that all about.

Also by the way, I'm really enjoying the new Zwift features. I remember we were quite doubtful when they announced their roadmap, but so far they're smashing it. Really interested in the 'climbing portal' or whatever the name of that thing was.

I guess they all thought if everyone's doing it they can't DQ us all?
WRONG!

Maybe they were testing how far they can go before they can disqualified or maybe they thinking afterwards how on earth they knew it that we did that. Probably accusing that spectator as well who video record it, we did nothing it was him

Zwift Play in da house. Also looks like it's going to rain today, so as soon as they're charged up I'm going to give it a go.
First impression, they look and feel quite decent. I thought they looked a bit plasticky and cheap in the photos, but in real life they're OK.

Yes, had a little play on the Repack. I then joined a race, to try out the lungs and steering. I really like it, you can nudge riders out of your way, if you're just ever so slightly in front of them. No steering if you're sandwiched in the pack. I just kept tapping the button when tiny spaces appeared, I was then able to get to the side of the pack to make a corner shorter, which does give you a good advantage especially when a few yards for the line could be vital.

Autosteer is always present, if you don't want to steer- don't fly off the course.

I also liked I didn't have to use my keyboard unless I wanted to type something. You can navigate around quite easily and power up is at your fingertips, press Y
