Looks like I managed to snatch the FRR green jersey yesterday. Really annoyed with myself, as I lost focus at one point and got dropped from the front group on flat road.

Actually recorded the whole thing, it's uploading now. Looks like being signed into two different accounts at the same time, on the same WiFi, caused me to have a lot of dropouts - around 30-40 throughout the event.

I had that problem too when I trialled a second tablet for "rear-view mirror". Since I tried it during a race, I speedily switched it off and then everything was fine again. Never bothered trying to diagnose it as it wasn't all that important.

Just checked the tracking from DPD, mine is coming Monday too ^_^

DPD has mine and I've managed to get home before it . I deliberately left off ordering until Thursday night to try and avoid non-delivery issues.

Do you have decent internet speed?
Dunno about Peter, but yeah I think mine is about 100 MBaud down and 10 up. But the access point in the garage (via powerline adapters and ethernet) is only about a third of that, but still supposedly ten times what's meant to be required for Zwift.
Definitely not that. I've done races while my lad was uploading YT videos and the like, never had dropouts. Well, I had maybe 2-3 in the last 20 months. The moment I spectated I got 10x that in an hour - so something must be up. Interestingly, me and my lad did a few side-by-side rides and this never happened. So it sounds like it could be linked specifically to spectating? Will do some experiments tomorrow in a Z2 ride.

I seem to remember testing it in normal riding and it was fine. What seemed to cause the issue was lots of riders (I've just remembered). So maybe if you want to test that, could try a pace partner ride (or whatever they're calling them this week )

How about we do a little Tour de Splitters? Steering team vs non-steering team

I worry this will create division between those with and those without. A steerage class

Probably a deep division those of us who are stupid/curious/frivolous enough to cough up a ton to see what steering feels like and those who think the emperor has no clothes on.

As someone pointed out elsewhere. "If I don't like it, I should be able to offload it for close to £99 once they start selling them for £150 "
But I rather have the feeling that I will like it. We'll see. I quite like the gamification. Some of the pure racers probably might not?
