Don't tell me, did you cut the grass with the lawn mower as well in a January?.

Nope! But I remember doing it in late December or early January a few years back! Until last week, our lawn had to turned into mostly moss, which doesn’t grow very high. ^_^ Most of it gone now after a 2-3 day effort during the holidays. Today I spread Calcium as rain is coming tonight. Next up is some new grass seeds and then some fertilizer later on. Hopefully that will bring back some life to the lawn!

We have moss too, especially on a concrete slab's in a backyard.. Need to get rid of them soon as possible when all the snow is melted.

I know we've got a couple of people on here who are doing the Tour of Cambridgeshire this year and certainly quite a few who have done it in the past, but I've just found out that this year's event is going to be the last one.

I've already started a thread on it at https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/2023-tour-of-cambridgeshire-to-be-the-final-edition.291321/, so don't want to double up by posting about it too much here, but just to say that if anyone did have this on their bucket list, there are still places available so it looks like this will be your last chance!

I have done it once and really enjoyed it. Great to ride on closed roads. I have a deferred place i was going to use but the risk of a crash ( there are a few every year) or falling off so close to the Raid Pyrennes put me off. I am confident of my own riding in a tight group-just not others.

Just seen this on Zwift Companion. Like it was made for me!

I would if it were later in the evening! I’m in for an AdZ event at 7PM instead. It’s a paced ride for a sub 60 minute. Not sure if I will make that or not, I haven’t done the Alpe for a long time and I’m on lower power and increased weight from my PB so it could be miserable 🤣

Good luck.

Stage 2 Tour of Watopia.

Was meant to be Z2 but got lured into a faster pace, got distanced before half way, then spent rest of the event having micro battles, with other lone riders. I got overtaken by a German rider near the top of Titans. Caught him on the descent. I ever so slowly created a gap by matching his W/kg. My heavier weight meant my flat speed was better than his. I extended the lead to 40secs, but he took 30 secs back on the last climb. Once over the crest, the pendulum swung my way again for the remaining 5 miles. 2 hours +. Knackered now

I had similar yesterday. Did stage 1 again on triple flat loops. Started out as a zone 2 recovery. I wasn't even intending to finish the route. Just a recovery ride with double XP. In the end I found myself with a triathlete about half-way round and as I edged past him, he stuck his nose in front again. OK. So I spent most of the rest of the ride drafting him. Although we did have a few tussles and try to drop each other a couple of times.

At the end he pulled his draft powerup just before the extra powerup banner before the final fuego flats sprint. So he had a minute of drafting before he could fire his aero helmet. Not wanting to be in any way helpful, I stayed right behind him until the draft helmet expired, then blasted past just after he deployed his aero helmet, with about 10m to go

Recovery race, morelike. Was fun though. I went outside for a recovery ride today and actually managed it on the gravel bike.
