Somehow I've managed to finish stage 7 of FRR ,2.41.31 ,47th/56 on zp . Held the bunch till the first sprint and got dropped with 72km to go . This will be a long day .Spent most of the ride alone caught a couple got caught by faster A pens but couldn't hold them for long . Strangely suffered on the flats barely able to push 2.2w/kg but could climb at 2.7ish . So nearly quit at the bottom of the Epic but somehow found the determination to get to the top lost loads of time on this but I made it . Really need a rest couldn't really raise heart rate and had no acceleration in the legs could just chug along

Well done mate

Well done Phil! Great determination.

I’m supposed to be doing a TT today on RGV to finish off the Zwift TT Club series (today’s the last day for it), but I’ve been feeling completely whacked all week (not aided by a long weekend of hardcore gardening - cutting down and burning a crappy old hedge run through with ivy, and putting up 60’ of fence in its place).

I don’t really want to just ride it to go through the motions…

Last couple of days I've watched a couple of Ed Laverack's videos. He's a monster for power from a small guys. He's currently live do a 85 ish km race. He said this race will take him to 19 hours of riding this week-Pro level numbers.

A side note. @JuhaL Did you just subscribe to Ed's YouTube channel? I was watching and I thought I saw your name pop up as a new subscriber

Is that officially confirmed anywhere? The fact that they've put the length of the stage as almost exactly the length of the Alpe itself means to me that either it's the same as the first ITT where the lead-in doesn't count, or that the lead-in does count and the finish is near the top but not AT the top.

100% confirmed. Watched 3 different streams.

They correctly put in the distance as 25k. Tour of Fire and Ice is 15k but also has a 3k lead-in. So the end is circa 3l from the top. Not sure if international or not but it is what it is.

I bet the first races where confused and peed off imagine pacing for the full alpe and it finishing early ! . You had being confused by distance to finish and distance to top
