After all the anticipation of 'grouped' battle points in the ZRL.

I don’t even know what it is ! Ain’t been on Zwift for a bit
I’ve been doing solo rides on Rouvy so guessing my already weak racing skills will have taken a hammering

Lee, its a team event of 6 race series on Tuesday evenings. You pit yourself against other A cats, then if your team wins or comes 2nd in the league can go onto the semis and hopefully the finals.

Anyone else going to be doing Tour de Zwift this year? I'm down to do the first stage this evening. Hopefully it'll be fun riding in a big group in a semi-competitive situation, without too much pressure. At least it'll help motivate me to get on the bike .

When I first rode a TdZ stage in Jan 21, I put out 228W for 38 minutes and it was a full-on TT all the way! There were something like 3000 people riding the event, so practically everyone had draft, the result being that it was just really fast!

Also looking forward to the rollout of the Scotland map in a few weeks :okay:

Haven't been on here for a while so Happy New Year everyone and I hope I haven't missed anything exciting!

Anyway, good luck to Team CCC in race 1 of Round 3 of the ZRL tonight :okay:

Thank you. Hope the Bs goes well too.

I'll probably end up doing the Tour but most likely as Zone 2 rides. I agree it can be fun in big groups. Scotland should be good - looking forward to the specialist hill repeat section they are doing as part of it.

I sometimes play a game with these. Start out slowly warming up gradually and allowing everyone to pass. Then wind it up gradually again and see how many places you can take back. I do find it quite difficult not to start racing in larger groups (except pace partners).

Yes I had to fight the urge to race in it yesterday. I ended up something like 2,550 out of 2,900 ^_^

The ZRL will be wrapped up by end of February. Long before it gets proper warm. Maybe we should start thinking about another Tour de Splitters?

Will do the events for increased XP and route badges but very unlikely to race them - as others said, likely Z2 pootles.

They only do 2x XP for ToW, which I think is an oversight. Perhaps they're counting on the New Christmas Toy factor and the New Year's Resolution factor to bolster the participation for TdZ.

At Level 34, I don't really care too much about XP - I suppose I'll buy the Super9 disc for TTing when I get to Level 35, but the marginal gains are minute once you get past a certain point. If only Zwift would allow you to clear out (or better, archive) your garage to get rid of the frames and wheelsets that you buy on the way up!

IKR? I've been practising my bike swaps for tonight. Have to scroll a bit to get from Tron to Grail

I just got level 35 recently (last week) and bought the disc wheel in time for the iTT on FRR. Can't do anything more on that front until level 42, which I reckon is a year away.
