Looks like cracking results @berty bassett, @<Tommy>. 45 and 47 minutes up the Alpe respectively :notworthy:

I really struggled today - still beat my PB up the mountain but was hoping for a better time. Maybe I complain too much - at the start of this I was aiming just to finish all the stages without dying.

You're almost there. Just a bimble round the Champs Elysées a couple of times and you're done
Good job on the PR - particularly on THAT bike
Your legs probably have some fatigue in them, but a couple of days off and you'll be a monster.

I've raced 5 days this week and I'm consciously going to have a change of scenery now. Might even do something drastic and go outside

Its a tough league isn’t it? Tough courses and tough competition too.

I was struggling up the hill from about half way onwards. I lost maybe 10 positions from then until the finish. But some of the people going past me were knocking out 4.5 w/kg + at that point so maybe / hopefully they’re in the cats above me. I went out too hard the first third but there’s always that feeling of wanting it over and done with asap isn’t there. Im happy enough with the time considering how I felt before the race.

Well done to the whippet! 👍. And Pete too of course. The PB will continue to improve the more you go at it. It’s hard chiselling seconds off of it and then in my experience sometimes you knock a minute or so off in one go.

How do we find out how we did vs our category?

Yesterday my plan was ride with pace partner of a eastern eight route but then I noticed how my avatar will look like if I join that group so I change my mind because I didn't want to look that stupid so I did my own ride so I did my own ride. Posted this wrong thread at first.

You came 21st across the line - looks like 19 out of the 20 people in front were from a higher category. The fella 8s in front was the only other GHT. Across all 6 races you had the 12th time for that stage in your category and 102nd overall.

Agree that the courses are tough - if its not a long climb then the stage is full of primes - one way or another you'll find yourself hanging on for dear life. On top of that, some very high quality riders.

You look different. New haircut?

I have bought most of my cycling clothes from Bike o'Bello, maybe I will send an email to ask do they have a that kind of "gears" available so I can be more recognizable.

well done the last stage and as predicted , got dropped first sprint and spent rest of the time on my own ,but its done now and I can have a nap this afternoon
Great achievement to have done all those. Well done. Pity it finished with a flat one.
Too bad it's not a procession stage with a race on only the last lap ;)

I'll probably do the 19:30 - looks like a nice big group and I need all the help I can get.

Are there any other racing series on the go? Anyone doing the Danish one?

There's race Makuri starting tomorrow too (and Tour of Makuri starting on 3rd November)
Race Makuri has a GC and team positions etc (Like September's "Get Rolling" and October's "Race Like a Chimp") That's just one a week (events every couple of hours), so quite doable. Will be some new courses in the second half of November too.
