It was very warm here today, the arm warmers lasted about 2 miles then I was in summer kit. Fortunately didn't need the rain jacket today.

Just cleaned the bike, ready for tomorrow.

Whilst I have full appreciation of kip’s effort. I do feel that only a fellow cyclist could look at a middle aged bloke, fully clad in Lycra, and utter the word ‘Badass’. Your local biker gang may beg to differ 😄

Just thinking out loud but I guess the difference between this and the ventoux stage is that the prime before the climb had already split the pack. Where as I assume this time there’ll be a very meaty looking pack at the foot of the hill.

Are we challenging in the league? Sorry I’ve not really kept up to date with it this week. Not really sure what I’ll have to offer today either… I’ll definitely try my best though. Just tired. Energy gel to the rescue maybe…

56th in the Team League (out of 59). We've had some reasonable results but we don't have 10 riders in each race, so we were never going to get very high. It's been good though. Lee and Peter have done them all so far.
