I saw a red blob on ZC and thought "that can't be Peter". Caught it on my sprint finish and it was @IrishAl dropped back to assist me on the finish :okay:

Yes @alex_cycles i saw you were looking good in the chase pack behind so I eased up to give you that final bit of draft to the line. Even did the honour of granting you the place in front of me - age before beauty and all that

It was nice to see you there. I made a bolt for it at 500m. I wasn't sure if the buggers were coming after me or not because the rearview screen didn't work well. Was causing increased latency so had to kill it a few minutes into the race.

Great race Everyone. Finished in time to spectate and see @IrishAl lead out @alex_cycles to the finish line ;)

I reckon today wasn't too bad for @berty bassett as well - some time lost but considering all the sprints good going :notworthy:

I had a great start and managed to hang with the lead group for quite a long time. Did well on the first sprint and the aqueduc and then I had to back off coz it caught up with me, but I found a group of about 7 behind that was quite easy to work with for the rest of the race. Killed 'em all on the uphill finish though  (rude not to).

Glad to see the back of another flat race ! Was very lucky and could have been a lot worse , decided I had nothing to lose on going long in the sprints and when 3/4 of them came pass it still left me with a few to help me claw back so done that a couple of times then the group decided to keep together instead of going for sprint and that really helped
Bring on the hill !

I think that's it for me, down collecting son from airport tomorrow. Sunday taking it easy ;)

Me too. I'm done now. Couple of Tiny races tomorrow pm. Respect to the young-uns who are doing it all. Those bonus points are now starting to rack up and they're well deserved. I've enjoyed doing some of these. Certainly I found today's first 11 or so km VERY intense until I dropped off the front group. And then a sprint and then a punchy KoM soon after and not long after that a longer KoM and then another sprint. Well at least we got some points for the team.

Pete's turn for the win for CCC👍

What's happened to Paul n Tommy?
Likely to change as there's more HAB competitors than CRP. But close :okay:

I think @bridgy ran out of life energy but perhaps managed to recharge for a trip up the Alpe? ;)

@<Tommy> did just one, right? But that was the Ventoux so seems to like it when the road goes up ^_^
