How did it go Peter ?
Well... I sat down to warm-up and realised the HRM battery died. Spent 15 minutes running around, looking for a replacement. When I found one, I realised the HRM needs super small torx bit so went looking for that... Got there in the end, HRM working and all.

Very disappointed with the neutralised start - I adhered to it but hardly anyone else did. After 400m I was 190/220 and no chance for a good blob. So the flat bit was a write-off and so was a good FTS for the sprint. It didn't help that my Ant+ signal dropped off a few times.

But excuses aside, it all pissed me off enough to fight back to 90th. Actually feel good about the climb and legs not too sore.

Well done. Sounds like people are taking the piss on the starts. Makes a good case for videoing the race and doing a mass grassup
I thought the organiser was going to be at the front supervising it?

Stage 2 is in progress next Race 1830UTC - FRHC upgrades have been applied. KMZ in race 1 today was very poor, it has been better since then by reducing the distance to just 400m (I will be on course to support this later). Stage 3 KMZ will end at the Bridge (400m) again I will be in the PEN to help reinforce this..... KMZ - No Power ups - Same Bike etc.. FRR Events are about Tour feel, we roll out, we have tough stages (toughest on Zwift as a Tour) no one will win in the first 1km not here.... RESPECT and understand the event you participate in let's enjoy the roll outs (Neutralised starts) and after 400M (For all Stages except the iTT Stage 5) then you can go... Everyone can enforce this and everyone is expected to - if you cannot - there are other events. So this is a Team warning - reoccurrances will cost Teams points.

Seems very naive of them to think that Zwift riders will self monitor ... given weight doping, racing in wrong categories, and pretty much every group ride I've ever been on where there are flyers. Unless they had a technical solution to keep riders in a blob, it was clearly never going to happen.

IMHO Zwift is missing a trick here. Implement a pace car functionality - organisers can set length and speed (no matter how hard you pedal you can't overtake the car). Sign a deal with a car manufacturer and make it their car. Racers happy, you get a pay check. Win-win.

They already have some of the code as rider speed is controlled when you join a pace partner.

Agreed, either they have it impossible to mess in with or just have a normal free for all start
