Nightmare… (2 mechanicals). Well first was having to go down stairs to get a spider out of the kitchen for the missus. Second was the left crank coming loose so I had to scrabble around for Allen keys. Think I prob lost about two minutes in total. I went from 11th to 28th I think. Happy enough just to be on the bike though to be fair. Body held up ok so I what have I got to moan about? Leave it with me, I’ll think of something

Sunday is normally an outside day for me but now I have zwift I have the option of indoors so when I woke up to torrential rain and the weather app said all day rain indoor it was .Nearly signed up for Ven top stage but thought better of it . Did the Herds climbers gambit race . Basically a ride with no draft and a timed hill climb Titan grove today . Got 7th in the segment but obviously played the game wrong as 5 of the 6 in front of me crossed the line behind me . I was chasing a Portuguese chap up the hill who's name was Almeida thankfully not Jaun .

Yeah, I was wondering what happened there. First thought was some sort of medical but sounds like other stuff.

Lee 6th, Tommy top 30 and Paul top 40, I think. John is still on course, constantly in high 170s to 180s for heart rate.

Earlier today Rich did top 140 and Alan top 150.

I'll be riding at 19:30 so it's looking like at least 7 results on the board.

I would love to have joined this race series. Looks great.
But I turned 60 yesterday and despite feeling great and up for the Tiny race series I threw my back out chasing the cat around the house 😂 . It is still frigging tender and I have to look after it because flying to Marrakech tomorrow for 4days as a birthday celebration.
Still not all bad because I was given lots of cycling prezzies including 2 pairs of cycling glasses, Rapha and Rudy Project , some other Rapha stuff and some nice new Lake cycling shoes to accommodate my bunions. Looking forward to setting them up on my return.
Enjoy the races boys. Even those of you on easier to use turbo’s 👍😁

Is it Cat B or Cat C? Just trying to work out if you're being a gimp or not?

I was in Marrakesh in May, was lovely. Hope you have a great time (watch out for the motorbikes bombing around the tiny alleys in the Souks  happy 60th ...

My favourite cafe was in the spice market square ... Cafe Des Espices .... great place to while away an hour people watching.
