I seem to have narrowed it down I think...
Fitted a new Shimano Cassette, still the same...so......I bolted in my New Boardman MTX
10 times better!
I think I will purchase a decent chain for the other bike, it sounds as though the chain is not sitting nicely in the cassette
I can see the top driven part of the chain kinda vibrating up and down
I also removed the covers from the Elite, just to check...it is super clean (like new)

Maybe buy a chain checking tool too assuming you don’t have one.

Stop messing with all this finagling, just buy the Neo.
And a new bike to go with it

Also found out that there's a 1 mile race at my village 'Jubileigh' celebrations. I won the equivalent 5k event a few years back, so there's a bit of honour to uphold! I'd be happy to scrape something under 6 minutes, given how little I've run recently.
Not the strongest field I’ve ever run against but I’m reasonably pleased with 5:41 and first place. It was on grass all the way and quite breezy. Calf’s sore again, though!

Then sort out any noises.

You know you want to ^_^

The Elite is quiet now, it's just the Bike

It's a way of hurting your legs without the need for a bike.
Also step 2 on the path of destruction towards "the T word".
(Also said to be good for VO2max and preventing osteopenia in middle-aged people - which is why I reluctantly started this week.)
Lift instead :okay:

I don't understand, on the Zwift site it states "No Returns - Sale item"
Is that allowed?
Presumably, you accept the T&C's at checkout so yes.

Ideally you'd do a bit of both, since resistance work helps fend of sarcopenia (muscle mass loss).

I recently listened to the audiobook of "The Mid-Life Cyclist - The Road Map for the +40 Rider Who Wants to Train Hard, Ride Fast and Stay Healthy". (The content was pretty good, although I wished I'd read the ebook when I heard the way the author reads.)

Obvs you're not in that age group yet, but most of us here are.
