Yeah, right hand ring finger, tho. It's not normally too bad when the skin's dry and hard, but when it's moist and soft it feels like there's a tiny reservoir of pus under there that's constantly being squozen xx(! Fortunately I'm left-handed - otherwise it would get irritated every time I use a pen or pencil.

Too much information

The gravel tyres are 32s, but actually loads of space left so could have gone a bit bigger. But for the type of riding I'll do, mostly compacted dirt on canal paths etc, they should be perfect.

Yes, I chose well when Rach offered to buy me a bike :okay:

I measured Tarmac how much space there is now in fork and seatstay. I have 26mm Specialized tyres which are actually 29mm wide, I measured with caliper. Testing with hex key and 6mm hex key fit without touching fork and to seat stay (not bad clearance) so 30-32mm gravel tyre might fit but I think I will stay with a roadtyres.

I have the 2018 Roubaix Sport. Love it. Yours looks like it might be the slightly newer one with adjustable/switchable Future Shock?
I later bought a Diverge for gravelling - wonderful fun with nobbly tubeless 38s on at 35psi. Enjoy the towpaths.

Yes, it's the 2020 with future shock and Di2 Love the bike and flexible to allow a bike of dirt track riding as well as standard road riding. Never going to be the fastest bike, but then I'm not the fastest rider  Good for 2 or 3 hours in the saddle without feeling sore.

I considered getting the diverge, or similar, but I think what I have now gives me the flexibility that I need.

HI everyone,
I managed to pick up an unused Elite Direto Smart trainer locally for Zwift today cost me £210.
I know it's not the best trainer, but I think it's more than good enough for me.
I started Zwifting when it was still in Beta until 2019, when I decided I couldn't be bothered anymore.
I am using it with my Macbook M1, and am really impressed with the smoothness.
I previously had a top notch 42 inch 4K screen with gaming tower pc.

I will see how I get on.

Good price.

Good enough IMHO.
It's what I've got. Unless you want to drop a LOT of money on a Neo/Wattbike or you're a monster sprinter, it'll do you.

Neo 2T is £699 in the Zwift shop ATM, which is pretty good by my reckoning.

Good trainer but what i have read the belt is obiously the weakest part. Many users are reported that the belt is snapped. Good idea to buy spare belt just in case I would think.

Good idea. I think I'll get one of those if they sometimes break. I've had my direto exactly a year, done 3000 miles on it and 170 hours. Hopefully get a few more years out of it.

Talking of which, my Garmin VivoSport is 4 years old (still works, but getting tatty) and they just launched the ForeRunner 255 yesterday :smooch:
The overnight HRV monitoring looks interesting.

Just did a Chop race with AHDR. Essentially a handicap race, but with a ride leader who in my race blew up on lap two.

But what he did was keep posting encouraging messages, even when dropped. He kept us up to to date on the chasing B and A packs. I did actually dig in deeper, :boxing:hang in the group to finish-

yes we beat the faster cats-easily

I bought SKS Airchecker digital pressure gauge and I compared reading to Lezyne floor pump, results surprised me. As far as I know Airchecker is relatively accurate and I did test with 4 different pressures (6bar, 7bar, 7,5bar and 8,5bar) all those test points Lezyne showed 0,6bar bigger readings. Next time I will inflate 0,5 bar more than I use to and ride faster...ofcourse :bicycle:
