Did you have Komoot set to Touring? It’s only ever taken me on gravel tracks with that setting, Road usually works for me staying on tarmac.
Same here, but I don't mind the gravel.Plus it seems like the tour option is always longer than the only paved option.

Never had Specialized road bike before, fully suspension mtb i use to had. Tarmac is obviously replaced Venge as well, Venge framekit is still available but complete bike.
I keep looking at the SL7 s-works and drool over it. It's an absolutely stunning bike. I don't need it as my Roubaix is beautiful to ride, but one can look

Due to the fact that my firewall has committed Harakiri following a power cut, I am desperately trying to work out how to finish the Haute Route this evening. I can set up a hotspot on my phone and connect the PC to that ... Will I be able to run Zwift over a 4G connection??

I guess it will depend on how reliable your 4g is. I’ve done it to get zwift working on my iPad when my wifi went before a race. Good luck!

Gorgeous out there today, and roads fairly quiet. Just bimbled a nice 47km around Wiltshire-Somerset-Dorset-Wilsthire

Quite surprised how good I felt once warmed up given the 100Km yesterday (and bruised hip from the topple)

My exercise today was a 5K run after a night shift this morning......

No sun but a beautiful full moon.....

Andy,
Your Tipster is the perfect set up. And I think at one time you mentioned those 40mm were almost as fast as slicks.

They're a very quick tyre Randy. If I was faced with only one choice of tyre for all disciplines. The G Ones 40mm would be the one.

I fancied some new tubeless aero wheels but with a wider tyre. The wheels are designed for 30-32mm tyres.

Ive ridden every day this week, notched around 60-70miles. Ive got a busy week on the house so my rides will limited to early evening next week

A nice description of a gentle ride.....

Bimbled :okay:
It's a term I picked up in South Africa when training as a safari guide. A 'bimble' was a drive out in the bush with no specific aim, just go out and see what you see. As opposed to a specific drive where we'd maybe go and track the lions or elephant, for example.

Yes no problem at all. I think you need something like 2mbs download.

Talking of speed, my daughter has reported her 5g connection is download 270mbs and 50mbs upload.

Im on the search for a reasonable priced 5g router
