Same here, but I don't mind the gravel.Plus it seems like the tour option is always longer than the only paved option.Did you have Komoot set to Touring? It’s only ever taken me on gravel tracks with that setting, Road usually works for me staying on tarmac.

My Tarmac is coming with Roval CLX50 wheelset, that is retailers recommendation. I have read good reviews about them as well.I have the standard Roval 38sections on the Roubaix Probably aero enough for me

I keep looking at the SL7 s-works and drool over it. It's an absolutely stunning bike. I don't need it as my Roubaix is beautiful to ride, but one can lookNever had Specialized road bike before, fully suspension mtb i use to had. Due to the fact that my firewall has committed Harakiri following a power cut, I am desperately trying to work out how to finish the Haute Route this evening. I can set up a hotspot on my phone and connect the PC to that ... Will I be able to run Zwift over a 4G connection??
Gorgeous out there today, and roads fairly quiet. Just bimbled a nice 47km around Wiltshire-Somerset-Dorset-Wilsthire
Quite surprised how good I felt once warmed up given the 100Km yesterday (and bruised hip from the topple)

Andy,
Your Tipster is the perfect set up. And I think at one time you mentioned those 40mm were almost as fast as slicks.
It's a term I picked up in South Africa when training as a safari guide. A 'bimble' was a drive out in the bush with no specific aim, just go out and see what you see. As opposed to a specific drive where we'd maybe go and track the lions or elephant, for example.A nice description of a gentle ride.....
