Unfortunately my phone's too old.

I have an ipad mini somewhere in the house, but it's from around 2014 so not sure if it would be supported or not.

Anything older than iPad Air 2 (released October 2014) would be unusable. Even on the Air 2, the graphics is really laggy and in my opinion unusable, but hey - each to their own.
Those coming from an older laptop with integrated graphics may find the Apple TV 4K great (locked at 1080p, 30 fps). But have you tried Zwift on a half-decent PC with a half-decent Nvidia graphics card (less than 6 years old), you'll laugh at the ATV graphics on a big 4K screen. But again, each to their own.

Selling Tacx Neo Bike - £1700 buyer to arrange and pay postage.

I touched this subject a month or so back but Covid and life just made it impossible to sort.

There's zero issues with the bike and the only reason for selling is that at present it's an expensive clothes horse.
My living circumstances have changed and I just don't have the room currently.
The bike works perfectly... Initially there was a rubbing noise when I first got it, this has disappeared now.
I've had the cover off to inspect belt and there is no wear or tear here.
Being cautious I ordered the belt tool and replacement belt but have had no reason to install them.
Seat will be swapped back to original.
Obviously comes in the original box.
I live in the Isle of Man so postage won't be cheap.
I'll try and answer as many questions as possible as long as they are crazy.
I've added some pics and will hook up to zwift and record a session.

Looks like I can get an apple TV delivered tomorrow for £150 - probably my best option?

Had a quick look at 2nd hand desktops but the last time I looked at specs I was about 15. Don't imagine there are many with a wifi adaptor and bluetooth as standard.

Absolutely go for the 4K version - 32 GB version is sufficient if only used for Zwift and a few other (cycling) apps!

I'd only use it for zwift - my bike is set up in the spare room / office and I use my work monitor to display zwift so don't think I'd notice any difference between HD and 4k?

Wasn’t expecting to see this post!

Does this mean indoor riding will be taking a back seat for a while or are you just planning to use a different setup?!

How long does zwiftpower typically take to do its business with changing the data source from live data to the FIT file? Does it ever not get done at all? I did a Zwift TT (Newbury Velo on Tempus Fugit) on Saturday and I've still got the green flash...

I've read that sometimes leaving the game too quickly after crossing the finish line can corrupt the FIT file - has anyone experienced this before?

I recently bought a second hand ATV unit on my local Facebook marketplace for £85. Works brilliantly.
So might be worth a look locally if you can as there can be bargains out there... :okay:

Went for the 4k Apple TV, the cheaper one is out of stock.

Should arrive tomorrow, so I should still be able to race!

Got fed up looking up the pros and cons of laptops and tablets etc.

Apple TV 4K is ONLY Full HD (1080p) when "gaming". The graphics processor is quite a bit more powerful in the 4K version, so it should be smoother and crisper image quality. However, you are still stuck at 30 frames per second! Still it is 5 year old technology, and has been due for an update for a long time... I suspect 2021 might be the year we see a true 4K Apple TV.

Good call. It boots up very quick and it just works. If you have an iPad you already probably have an apple Id (that was the only relatively painful thing about setting it up for me)
