Well I've just done 25 minutes to try it out and my conclusion was just about what you suggest Paul.

First impressions are that I like it. The bike moves left and right a bit, unlike my dumb turbo, which is helpful. It is a little noisy but I think that is the drive train - may need to re-index or something.

The good news is that the NEO seems to give a couple of percent higher power readings than my Powertap pedals. I was concerned it may be the other way around.
Reviews I've seen show the Neo 2T as really quiet so hopefully that's just your drivetrain or gear indexing you're hearing, and you can sort that out

Just use earphones when using it!

It should be near silent though, especially when compared with an old school wheel on dumb turbo!

Seems I have to find the original receipt of purchase OR take out a court order for Apple to release the passcode to my late Uncle's ipad... !!!

View attachment 566975

Anyone know of any other way to get the pass code or perform a full factory reset to enable me to use the iPad...?

Amazingly after waiting 4 weeks for Apple to contact me regarding my late Uncle's iPad, I finally got a text message to allow me to reset the pass code !!
I had to go thru several steps but eventually I was able to reset the iPad & link it to my existing account.

Zwift also works on it so I'm now fully Zwifted up following the purchase of an Apple TV unit 10 days ago.... :okay:

Just need to find some climbing legs now...

I set myself a target of losing a stone in January and can happily announce I have lost 1 stone 5 pounds which means I am now (for the first time in bloody years) under 100kg!!! I am now 99kg on Zwift Power.

All this done without dieting, I just fiddled my weight on Zwift

Actually I did Dry Jan and logged everything on MFP. It's been tough at times but enjoyable at the same time. I'm 40 next Saturday (6th) so pleased to get below 100kg before that milestone and hoping stick under it for the rest my life.

I'll have a jolly good binge on beer and pizza at the weekend and then back on the straight an narrow and see how low I can get before lockdown is relaxed and cafe rides reappear :hungry:

Now to relax in front of the TV and wait until 00:01 to have a celebratory beer
