Hi @Scottish Scrutineer ....can you share how you fixed this? I've this exact same issue. I've played about with settings on my Tv but none of the settings seem to make any difference .
Hi,
you change the settings on the Apple TV box menu, not the TV itself. I fell into the same trap.
Go to "Settings" menu on the ATV, select "Audio & Video", the set screen resolution to "1366x768 SDR" (you need to scroll down to find this setting) HDMI output is at YCbCr. This seems to work with my Samsung 27"TV connected by HDMI into HDMI 1.

Hope this works for you. It took a couple of goes to get this to Save, but it now seems quite stable. I just switch the ATV and TV on, give it a few moments to boot up, select my playlist on Spotify, then open Zwift. At the same time, make sure Zwift Companion App is open on my phone. I sometimes need to pair the HRM, but that's possible because I've been wearing it for a few minutes and it isn't in pairing mode.

Thanks for that. I’d been through those various settings before with no luck but I don’t know what I’ve done but somehow I’ve fixed it with a bit of phaffing in both Apple TV and TV settings! Result!

It's a bit soon to say Bob although early indications are good.

Firstly, the User Guide is pathetic/non-existent which is a bit strange. I managed to get the NEO installed and have had one short test ride and one 2hr 30 min endurance ride on it so far.

It feels really smooth. There was a bit of a noise to start with but I kindof focused on lening/pulling to my right for a while and it went away. Not sure what it was. There is a bit of etallic rubbing noise in my top gear but I think that is drivetrain catching somewhere.

I've not tried Erg mode yet, so can't comment on that. I should have a better idea how it performs after tonight's race.

The NEO owners group in FB is a great resource and makes up for the poor instructions from Tacx/Garmin.
It will be really interesting to see if you benefit from climbing with resistance. Your outdoor rides suggest you may well do so.

Hey Norry,

I should have mentioned that you can turn off "road feel" on the tool kit on your phone app. It makes some noise when it is turned on.

Bit of a technical issue with Apple TV.

I have a HP Z display monitor that has three different inputs underneath for different cables, as far as I can tell there are:

VGA

Displayport

DVI

I've always used a HDMI - VGA cable from my laptop to monitor, which has worked fine but won't detect the apple TV.

Are any of the other connections likely to work, or will the apple TV insist on having HDMI at both ends?

Has anyone tried the Analysis tool on Zwiftpower? I just tried it for the first time and it is really good (and easy to use). I wanted to compare my new NEO 2T to my existing Powertap P2 pedals. Have a look at the graph and table below:

Incredibly close match. It will be interesting to see what it looks like on a less steady state ride. I'll probably try it after the WTRL race tomorrow.
Last year i did once when i compared Elite Drivo 2 and Quarq Zero readings, nice feature. Avg power Quarq readings was 1,82% lower, normalized power Quarq readings was 0,86% lower and max power Quarq reading was 1,5% higher.

In theory you could go HDMI to DVI, but it can become a bit of a minefield (lots of different versions of DVI).

HDMI to HDMI is absolutely recommended...

starting to wish I'd just bought a laptop 😢

Something strange going on today with Zwift/ZwiftPower, my 11 year old daughter rode the 15:00 TDZ cat C. race on the R.G.V. course. When she crossed the finish line it showed that she’d completed the ride with time etc., but the ride didn’t upload straight away and we had to re-enter the ride to complete it ...?

On checking ZP it shows that she did ride the 15:00 TDZ but oddly in Watopia ...

Team #23 had a good race too - mostly thanks to the return of Pete to the team who scored well in the intermediates to get 44 points for the team in total - thanks Pete! We came 6th in our division which I think is our best result so far this season and has moved us up a couple of places overall.

You haven't got yourself upgraded back up to Cat A have you @peterob ?!!

Some dodgy riders tonight .... 2 in particular doing the saw-tooth method. 5 w/kg one second, 0 w/kg the next. May have to flag them. One guy finished the race at 3.6 w/kg for the whole ride (and somehow didn't win!)

Saw that, probably a couple of dqs - I think wtrl have picked up some of the sticky watts of sawtoothing but wouldn't do any harm to flag it if people are taking the piss
