What’s the crack with the teams for season 2 lads do we have three teams?
havnt raced for 2 months now 😳. Going to join a flat one later and see how that pans out!

I think it's best to have 3 teams (especially as I'm probably a c after the Christmas binge plus lay off 🙈)

I know @Joffey and @BurningLegs have being doing some recruitment work to bulk up numbers

+1 - speaking to a few people on Facebook at the moment to see if they fancy racing in a B Cat team.

I think 23 have a problem now that @peterob has been promoted? Anything in the works there guys?

I'm looking forward to racing again. So far I have resisted the temptation to race since the end of ZRL Season 1 so I can get some proper training in. I've been prescribed "Free ride on Zwift - As you please for 60 minutes" today and was tempted to do a Crit City race - but having done 2 tough training sessions on Monday and Tuesday I have reluctantly persuaded myself to just do a mainly Zone 2 hour maybe with a couple of sprints.

Hopefully it will pay off when the real racing re-starts.
 
@Norry1 I have had trouble riding at all over the festive period. Had two weeks off work and started perfectly last Monday with a 100km ride in 2.5hrs. Then ate and drank non-stop, promising myself to do another 100km this Monday just gone but have been unwell (again!!)

Now weighed myself and I’m +3KG which is 5% of my body weight! 🤦‍♂️

Gentle 30minute roll for me tonight and if I’m good tomorrow will do some sweat spot. I’m off booze and treats now - want to get rid of at least 1KG before 12th of Jan.

Can anyone here beat a body weight increase of 5% in about 10 days?!!

I assume you mean sweet spot? Nice Freudian Slip if so :laugh:

And good going on the weight gain - 5% is good going :okay:

Doubt I'll beat the percentage but pretty sure it'll be over 3kg. Hoping to be back on the bike tomorrow or soon after to start the repair job

I've resisted the racing and have been doing a bit of much needed base training . Will start to introduce a couple of threshold and VO2 from next week.
Looking forward to the racing again .

What sort of riding do you usually do? Almost all of my cycling is indoors, but a lot of people have started doing more indoors with lockdowns. Have you been riding more indoors this year?
