Well deserved #23, onwards and upwards

Team #68...sorry again.

This time it's my fault, the frame is a bit rusted at the back and it came off the turbo, did about 80km since the tyre change before slipping off

As a 5 and a 4 did really good, passed a lot of teams early on which bodes really well for next series.

Brief outsider report!

First of all massive kudos to #23 on winning the league and a deserved promotion. Well done to #68 for managing to put in a good performance with a mixed cat team and overcoming @mjd1988 ’s rusting components! If Santa brings Michael an Apple TV, it could be the sign of big things for season 2. Special mention also to @Joffey for riding with a prawn up his ring........... or something like that!

No pictures from me I’m afraid and alcohol would have been entirely inappropriate for a team battling to stay up, but we did it! WTRL Wanderers are staying up! :boxing:

We finished 18 out of 22 in East 1 Division 1B. Incredibly hard league and I’m hoping that the growing number of upgraded A riders get bumped up to the A cat league for Season 2.

Unfortunately, we’re going to lose our top rider as he managed to get bumped to A in Week 9, so we’ve got a big hole to fill. I think we all agree that we need about 8/9 riders to make this work going forward, as most of us ride in the TTT on Thursday as well. I’ve been riding my road club TT on Wednesday and I just can’t keep doing that.

So, 4 weeks rest and off to find another couple of riders

#68 what league were you in? How did it end up??

Division 1 3B - where we will remain for next season. If we sort out technical issues I think we are starting to see real improvement in TTTs which we have struggled with at times. @Ketty and @Joffey have progressed a lot over the series as well, so all bodes well.

@Del C well done on staying in the top division!

Be great to see how #23 get on in the new league, I think you guys will still be really competitive

Do we think there will be any big changes for season 2 of the ZRL?

I know they have had a lot of feedback on WTRL facebook, both in terms of how many TTTs, how many points per race and down to what number and even whether they will use a different categorisation system than Zwiftpower.

Doubt they'll change too much in one go, it's already a huge administrative undertaking. Anyone any strong thoughts on how it should go?

Well done all CC'ers in season 1 of ZRL.

Saw this in the ZRL facebook. Anyone know what it's referring to CC#68?

I think that's a reference to our team tag issue last week- bit of an odd one, Nick was still using the team 23 tag, which for some reason seemed to link him in with the army team? Really strange. So he didn't get any points for us, but hopefully thats the only impact, I think the other team may have been dq'd but surely must have been reinstated? @BurningLegs
