Bloody hell that was hard work. Completely knackered.

<steve.exe has crashed and needs to be rebooted>

First one off and I somehow managed to keep the lead for almost 14 minutes before someone caught me. And I got a PR up Leith Hill - my first ever sub-10 minute time. Also held off Marino to finish one from last - though that's a little unfair, as he only got on his bike something like 90 seconds before his go time, so probably wasn't exactly on top form!

But good fun all the same. Same time next week?

Tough day at the office for me too :heat:

I just couldn’t get going... Not taking anything away from the guys who ran me over! I haven’t seen the times but I’m going to have to assume I got smashed by the light weights. Well done chaps 💪💪

I think the start went ok. Apologies to brusgaard and alongo. I didn’t know you’d made it to the start line. In fact I only realised you were in the race a few miles in brusgaard. But it seemed to go relatively smoothly in general. I’m not sure I’d recommend starting like that again. But it was worth a try.

I started too early (giving Carl only about 12 seconds headstart) when I saw you write my name, and I thought you might have told me to go, when I was in the pairing screen. Knowing he would crush me once we hit the hilly parts and no drafting anyway, I saw no point in stopping again. Alan started about 15 seconds after me, so about same pressure on me as on Carl.

There you go, @Whorty - caught in a minute because it was a small gap so don’t beat yourself up too hard.

I was wondering to myself how you could get caught within a minute without being stationary on the start line!

Enjoyed that this evening. Individual TT not my preferred event but that was “fun”.

ha ha, thank feck for that .... I thought I'd started way too slow as you caught me so fast  Actually worked well for me as gave me a target on the climb - didn't think I'd catch you but I could see your watts dropping so just kept on pushing. Thought you might have me on the descent.

PB for me on the full segment route and a massive 3 second pb on the climb :wahhey: Not quick enough on the climb to catch Ian though ... ran out of hill 😢

Well done everyone - a good night's work :okay:

😂 I wasnt too sure myself what was going on, but I saw a flurry of names including mine so went for it.
I’m sorry but that hill was tougher and longer than I thought it would be. Next TT will be down the Alpe 😁
I’ll check the segment times now and see what we have but well done everyone.
