Seriously though I wouldn’t put any money on me! I have to be very careful what I say here because we all know how excuses go down around these parts... but I will just be happy to stick in a steady ride tonight.

I completely agree. Nothing wrong with a good hill, but I can't handle the flat

59 miles in. Top of Ditchling Beacon.

I think I lost out on a PB through 2 slow cyclists holding up cars in front of me.

I childishly sprinted past them at the top of the Beacon as a small dose of revenge!

Back in time for the TT by my calculations 👍
