so we set off at alloted time ,but no need to go for it , for about a mile in ?

As Tommy says my estimate is about 0.5k - you’ll see the start/finish banner marking the start of the official timed segment. As it is so short you might as well get up to Power based on your pacing strategy - assuming you have a strategy? Do tell?

Bike selection should be TT bike to prevent drafting. So the only dilemma is which wheels to go for.

If I can start, rather than giving me a separate time should I start with another rider (say Brendan as he's faster than me anyway) or maybe split 2 riders and go at say 2:45 (Between Ian and Brendan)?

Are you guys racing Wednesday?

not for me tonight Tommy unfortunately. Back issues have resurfaced 😫. It’s not too bad and I hoped I’d wake up today feeling ok but I reckon I need another day or two taking it easy.
Shame as I like a good TT (although maybe not with a big freakin hill in the middle).

Join the meet up now if you can please Carl. The timings aren’t that important in the sense that so long as we know who is in the race before it starts I can send people off at 30 second intervals. So just let us know later if you’re in or not.

That video is very interesting - if I was you I would take it to extreme and free wheel the first bit then mash the hill 👍

I’m working in Cornwall today so providing no traffic issues I’ll be racing.
Was in Cornwall yesterday and the traffic was horrendous but seems better today and I think if there’s going to be a second wave then Cornwall could be odds on favourite for it.
Question: Is the concept bike a TT bike and ok to use tonight?

Great. It’ll be really good to have you and milzy back in the fold. Going on what you’ve said, and neither you and Adam did the race last week. I think I’ll swap your start times around so you head off first. If you guys are planning to race next week in the team tt we’ll try and use your times tonight to decide which team you’re in as you haven’t been racing much lately.
