37 km individual time trial completed! Race was run over 2 laps of Tempus Fugit

Finished 25th out of 34 in B Cat with a time of 56.56 and average power of 237W.

Not very easy to make a TT report interesting. I suppose I could say I started steady, aiming to try and keep it around 250W if possible. As I made my way across the desert the first time, I tried to keep my pace and power steady. Then, as I headed back to complete the first lap, I thought 'What should I do?' Yes I know, keep your cadence, power and pace steady. Yeah I think I'm getting the hang of this.

Guess what I did on the second lap. Yes. that's right! I kept my pace, power and cadence steady, but to make it more exciting I tried to concentrate more on keeping my pedalling in a nice circular motion............. or maybe I should have said a nice, steady circular motion?

As I neared the line I thought 'F**k this! Let's have a little sprint!!' So I steadily increased my power and............. crossed the line and collapsed in a heap on my handlebars!

I may enter next week and thrill you all with another TT report!

I have thinking to do 10km ITT. I would like to test how well i manage to do that on Zwift. Prevent any pace sticky draft etc. i will do that offline to make sure no one else isn't ride on my route and slow me down or make me faster.

No drafting when you choose a TT bike on Zwift
I wasn't sure but it's good to know.

I've put together a Survey Monkey questionnaire to sort out the best day and time for a Hare and Hounds race. It's similar to what @IrishAl did last year, although probably not as good! I'm a newbie with Survey Monkey

I've included all weekdays as Questions 1 to 5 (yes or no) and time of day as question 6 (18.00, 19.00 UK or other). Can you answer and we'll see what comes out best. You can say yes to more than one day!

Strava related question. On my segments page on the (iPhone) app. I don’t get club leader boards anymore. Or sometimes I do sometimes I don’t. Not sure. Anyone else get this?

see leaderboards but no club ones. Any thoughts?

edit: it seems like you can see friend and club leader boards on outside but not inside rides.

Same here Tommy, wonder if it's because outside segments have a few thousand people doing them and zwift segments have circa a million.

I know last week a lot of zwift segments wouldn't load on my phone and I kept getting network error pop up in Strava.

So it could be they removed it for virtual segments to relieve pressure on their servers

I noticed this a few days ago and wondered what had happened. Just checked my last outdoors ride and the club leader boards are there for me as well.

If I look at the laptop/PC version of Strava then the club leaderboards are them for both indoor and outdoor rides.

I know they had a big cull of indoor segments as they claimed the recent increase of people riding indoors combined with the number of junk segments was giving the a huge data processing problem, but I'm not sure why removing leaderboards off a mobile app would be necessary.
