1.13.28 - delighted with that

Didn't think I would enjoy that course, and that's probably the wrong word for that experience, but kept thinking I was going to burn out but managed to hold it together. Was with Dean for a long time clawing onto the back of a group (me, not him!) before he flew uphill but looking at the time I didn't actually lose as much as I usually lose. Not sure if it's my "pescetarian damp January" (bit half arsed but better than nothing) or if I've finally got over a series of colds.

I'm also under my zwift weight for the first time in a good while! Not going to change it until I've kept it there for a week or two because I definitely didn't increase it over Christmas and I definitely wasn't 85kg I fear!

Great to have some more new people for the league. I think zpower on a dumb trainer is fine as long as you aren't putting out silly numbers, and it's a great way to get hooked.

103:42 on stage 2 please. I felt tired so went out easy. Good pacing paid off well. rode with Paul B for a while in our pack. Not sure if I should attempt it again or not yet.

I started trying to keep it all under control, but as usual I went off quite hard. I entered the Hugel first time 370th Exited 424th, but lap two and three I was able to keep my position and left the Hugel in 398th. That's where it began to fall apart. For every rider I passed, 3 passed me. I finished 594th
I felt better although on the rivet for the climb.

Thanks, only felt well enough for the b stage for stage 1.

Is the Epic KOM climb similar to the one today?
Welcome :okay:

I think Epic KoM (for me anyway) is slightly easier but will take about the same time.

@peterob keeps the details for the ride, so if you ask him nicely  I'm sure he'll add you to the league spreadsheet :okay:

You should be able to do Stage 1 on the catch up week (if you miss any stage you are given the slowest time +5%, or is it 10% ... can't remember, so always worth putting a time in for every stage)

I just order new powermeter Quarq DZero. All i need to do is order just a spider because it's compatible with my older Quarq Riken R powermeter. Riken R stop to measure cadence and power so i decided to update the spider to new one.

nice, congrats juhal 👍

I have the same power meter on one of my bikes and I really like it. I think I’d done about 2k miles before I had to change the battery and it’s also been really very reliable.

Thanks. I think Quarq gives a good value for money, it’s accurate. Battery life suppose to be about 200hours what i read. When my Rike R still worked it gived pretty much same power readings as my Elite Drivo 2 does, DZero accuracy suppose to be at least a same. I should have DZero in monday.

League updated with yesterday's results. It looks like there's some close battles forming :boxing:

@tallliman - I've added you to our league. Do you have a time from stage 1? I've put you down as a Cat C as your stage 2 time was close to the other Cat C's in the league so you should have some good competition there. Also if you join the CycleChat team in ZwiftPower we'll be able to see your times and add them to the league. :welcome:
