Wouldn't be surprised if he's really a B but knows how to play the numbers game to keep his power just in C. Well done mateWent down a bit of a zwiftpower rabbit hole. The guy who won the cat c race I was in today has 41 first place finishes in cat c alone. Mental.
I came 4/6 on zwiftpower and had the lowest 20 min power in the race. Won a bunch sprint on the road though. Going to start racing a bit more consistently now hopefully so hope to build the power back.
I can’t believe anyone would keep their numbers down on purpose just to have an easier race
Just seen the announcement about the new Harrogate circuit coming to Zwift in early September. https://zwiftinsider.com/yorkshire-2019-announced/
It also says Zwift are setting up a Zwift Draft House, taking over the Cold Bath Brewery in the centre of Harrogate.
I am going to watch the World's this year so will pop in to the Zwift House - and maybe get on one of the guided rides they are doing - and who knows, maybe an indoor Zwift race
Anyone else planning to be there?
I was impressed to see a GB plated Model S in Morzine when I was there a couple of weeks agoNope, EV convert, these days
. Our 500+ miles traveling down to New forest and local trips has cost £10 in electric cost.
We had free overnight charging at the campsite, which was enough for outings and we didn't use it last day so had full charge to drive home if we wanted. However Woodie dog was struggling with the traveling so stopped and did a 15 min charge whilst we walked him
Still got the truck- but likely to go in the future
Happy to re-start Thursday night meet-up races any time there's enough interest to make it worthwhile. I did suggest last week but only Tommy replied that he was up for it so we ended up doing our own thing. I can try setting one up for this Thursday though....7pm still best? (I can probably mange 6pm if needed)We need to get our Paul B Thursday night races back up & running. Fun times.
Any time for me. Hopefully it will have cooled off for then.Happy to re-start Thursday night meet-up races any time there's enough interest to make it worthwhile. I'm def a 6 rather than 7 rider, but ifthe majority go with 7 don't worry about me. 7 is too late for me due to having to feed and help HID.Happy to re-start Thursday night meet-up races any time there's enough interest to make it worthwhile. Must confess, I prefer non-TT as the idea of a free draft makes me work hard to chase riders in front down, but if in TT mode I just keep cranking the pedals. But, I'm easy either way and will go with the flow. Be interested to do the new watopia rolling ride through the forests (the loop off the new desert plains), as that looks like an interesting course. Something for everyoneAs it's likely still t be a relatively small turnout, shall I set it up as a TT? When there's not many riders it can often end up like a TT with riders on their own anyway (although those who turn up do get the advantage of having other riders to chase or try and stay away from), and anyone who can't make the time on Thursday can do it on their own separately if they want to...
