just being silly ! gonna try and hang on as far as i can
You say that now, but as soon as you see Paul, Andy, Pete, Bob shoot off you'll be at 'em like a terrier down a rabbit hole ..... and when the road rises, you'll be climbing like Fred D  (I didn't include Tommy as I assume he'll be late joining again and get lost somewhere enroute  )

Me, I'll be looking around at who is near me and see if we can make a nice groupetto  Problem is, I fear my fellow mid table pals will also be shooting off up the road and when we get to the first climb I'll be lanterne rouge :surrender:

Because of 2hr time difference i will probably face this Surrey Hills challenge at my own time. I would like test that route with my current trainer, hope i can cut off some time for that current best and throw all times what i have done with Bkool to trash bin.

My house is in turmoil, the builders ripped down the ceilings with asbestos, so all contents of the house are in two rooms that aren't being touched. So I have to move everything back into the others rooms. Let me assure you that the zwifting the Surrey hills is easier than putting the house back together.

I just ride 1-lap of Surrey Hills. It felt worse than Alpe du Zwift, no legs at all today.

edit. so god bless for your meetups.
What time for the Strava segment?

Edit: just had a quick look at Juha's Strava and there are 2 Segments we can use tonight. One is called Surrey Hills Official (https://www.strava.com/activities/2212884194/segments/55877943383) and starts from the off as soon as the countdown finishes. Start is on Tower Bridge heading back across the bridge to Southwark and NOT to the start/finish banner.

The other segment is the official Zwift one posted earlier 'Surrey Hills 1 Lap (Zwift Verified) (https://www.strava.com/activities/2212884194/segments/55877943371). This segment looks to start from the BASE of the first hill and NOT on Tower Bridge.

I'm guessing both will finish at the conclusion of the MeetUp when we see the time pop up and we go through the 'fence'.

I think my preference is to use the Zwift Verified segment, this allows us to roll, or otherwise, to the base of the climb but I'll go with the flow.
