I'm in week 4 of the 6 week ftp plan at the moment. I did an ftp test before starting the plan but I suppose I won't really know if the plan has benefitted me until I do another test at the end!Could even mix it up with a proper short TT prologue flat race to see how that would pan out? My definition of flat is definitely different to some though (basically downhill is good).
@peterob thanks again for doing the spreadsheet - is the FTP builder good? I've been thinking its about time I actually did some sort of training plan
The thing with that store is I have the Tron bike already which (excluding the TT bike) is the fastest in pretty much every situation except Alpe De Zwift. So why would I want anything else?I got excited by the new zwift 'garage' yesterday, and the fact I had 1.6m Drops, so bought myself some new wheels. I got the Zipp 808/Disc wheels. Only realised today that whilst they are nice and aero, they are the heaviest wheels available (I know, I could have worked that out but didn't really think last night). No wonder Bob and Martin dropped me on that last hill yesterday .... I was dragging my fat ass and fat wheel with me
I agree. Dropshop is vanity, that's what i thought. Zwift suppose to focus only functionality and maybe new courses. Basically Zwift was pretty good. These drop goods doesn't bring nothing new what Zwift didn't already had.The thing with that store is I have the Tron bike already which (excluding the TT bike) is the fastest in pretty much every situation except Alpe De Zwift. It didn’t happenSomething weird is in Zwift. I ride 2 rides, first one saved normally but the other one volcano flat only half saved in Zwift and nothing seen in Strava.

I don't know is it something to do with lates update but peculiarities is appeard lately. People are lost there dropshoppings , Zwift saved only 6,37km for my volcano flat ride. With 240w avg power i would liked that saved perfectly. Fortunately i find file from my laptop and uploaded to Strava. And I lost my wahoo jersey
And it worked aswell without rattling.
Actually it did. I find that saved file from my laptop and now it's in StravaIt didn’t happen

You are right, i was thinking's these goods too much from my situation. I am level 34 so actually these drop goods didn't bring me nothing new what i already have. I have tron bike, cervelo s5, Trek bikes, Lightweight wheel set. Sure i use my drops but only showing offDon’t know. I’m on level 10 and all my gear is the basic stuff. If I can buy something that levels the playing field with guys who are on higher levels it benefits me I guess.
Previously you got new bikes/wheels as you went through the levels, now it's based on these points you accumulate as you ride - so same principle really in the sense that you can only get the best stuff if you've put in the miles. Main difference I guess is you get to pick and choose your upgrades rather than being assigned whatever you got for getting to the next level. Still make sure you're signed up for the Everest challenge so that you can get the Tron bike one day though - assuming that still works like that? It'll take you AGES though!Don’t know. It’s the choice, but also that you can get them faster than from levelling up. I’ve already got upgrade options I didn’t have from being on level 10.
