Lovely sunny morning, today! I was considering getting up at stupid o'clock to catch the sunrise at Pitsford Reservoir but decided a bit more kip was needed so didn't head out until just after 08:00..
Mainly between the housing estates on grassy/muddy footpaths..
A leaf.. That's it..
Boughton village where the postbox usually has a topical topper 👌
Lots of autumn leaves to sniff & rummage through (Binnie, not me!)
A few yards over 5 miles and back for a couple of coffees before family came over with cake & pressies..

Pups (Nearly a year now 😳) first 10k walk. Took her for a trip down to; and around the edge of Oulton Broad, Suffolk. She wasn’t sure about the Swans at all 🤣

Off to the seaside with the dog this Morning. Then just kept on heading left along the Coastal path toward Gt Yarmouth. Pretty much until we couldn’t get any further (High tide; waves crashing in and path was super slippery)…..
Pup managed to catch a live fish in the shallows [Daddy saved it and put it back where it belonged]. Other than that an uneventful but peaceful and enjoyable walk……

Yesterday. 8.23 miles, 2.31 mph from Grasmere to Blea Crag with my best mate..
Damp and misty day, very wet & boggy underfoot and slippery rocks. Decent day out for the time of year.
Pub prices! 2 pints and 2 packets of crisps - £13.45!

Normal mid-week early (Ref 4.15am out the door) walk. Super mild here. Almost clammy ! With a little mist. Amazing temps for steaming toward Mid-November.
Spookily (Sic) quiet this am. Worlds a far better place at this time of day without Humans around…..😉

Urban wander this Morning. Little dull and miserable.
But ‘we’ had fun…..
We discovered and went through the lovely Normanston park:
Where we found a Skatepark. We thought of doing a few 720 back-flips - but decided not to 🤣
And this below is a recent addition there: A bench in the shape of a Skateboard. In memory of a local Skater who lost his battle with Cancer:
We also stumbled across the Worlds smallest (But absolutely admirable none the less) set-aside area:
……and walked past the largest and earliest Xmas decorations I’ve ever seen 😳
5 miles of outside fresh air we loved 😍
But ‘we’ had fun…..

Another 5 miler with my Lady this Morning. A bit less Urban this Morning though. Infact we took in the Beach, the Dunes - all sandwiched by a little of the woods either end.
Looks like worse (wet) weather next week. Perhaps we should embrace these calm, mild and very dry times. Certainly been a very mild start to Winter for sure…..
