Another 35 miles today making it 235 miles since 28th May.
Planned to head up the West Glen Rd to Kilmalcolm heading to the 3 Sisters in Quarriers Village .
Heading out to Bishopton bike was making a funny noise from left crank so swift detour into Paisley to Thomson cycles for quick pit stop, bike sorted .
Set off through Paisley, Elderslie, Johnstone, Kilbarchan, Bridge of Weir then onto Quarriers. Coffee and cake stop.
Back through B.O.W , Houston and back along the Georgetown rd to Renfrew.
Another beautiful day for cycling.
More miles tomorrow :bicycle:

A fraction over 60 miles and a shade under 4k of climbing. All in glorious :sun:. Photos later: bath now. :heat:

Today's ride, which saw me clock up my 3000th mile of the year, was with my cycling group. We followed NCN3 from Taunton to Tiverton, stopping for coffee at the fantastic Stawley Stores in Appley and lunch at Knighthayes Court. We came back via the Grand Western Canal (which I got bored of after the first few miles ) and then retraced our steps along NCN3 to Taunton. There were hills in abundance which, scarily, I found myself enjoying!

This made me laugh:

The rolling hills of Devon. Beautiful.

Huzzah! A hill to go down, rather than up :wahhey:

After my 104.4 miles yesterday I rode 41.2 miles tonight to meet the missus who did another one of her bonkers 50 miles each way commute to work. So I cycled up Brill hill, which is a cow of a hill, but great coming down, and met her in a pub in Shabbington for din dins, then back again with her. Lovely evening but a persistent headwind on the way home that made harder work than we would've liked. There was delightful sunset on the way home. 41.2 miles is a doddle after doing 100.

I thought Id force myself into a rest night and a relaxed ride to watch a cycling race. It worked for the first 5 or 6 miles, then I saw my mates and whilst the pace was upped it was still OK but then my mistake. When watching the race it started to get cold so I put the Aldi windproof on, its like a parachute and after the race we really up the pace. After saying my goodbyes I reverted into a recovery ride but a few miles down the road I was caught by one of the elite racers and even though he'd been in a race after 4 miles or so he sprinted past me leaving me for dead
