I had to read the company Health & Safety manual today one thing they have done is to ban the use of cycles on company business  but also say you can use a motorbike if its insured for business. IMO the push bike is much safer, yet it's the one that's banned

Just come back from a 2.5 hour ride south of Birmingham. Started off with 6 riders, lost one after 2 miles (these freshers don't know how to look after themselves!), then another 2 turned back after an hour leaving 3 of us to go the rest of the way. The temperature was pleasant enough, but at times the headwind could be annoying. Ended up doing about 75km.

nice little ride of about 11 miles - didnt want to go for a long ride as i feel a bit bunged up so thought i would try and do at least ten mile at a half descent speed - ended up doing 10.85 at 17.61 mph which i was quite happy about considering it was quite hilly

Club ride was in lovely sunshine this morning. We set out heading east down the coast with a lovely tail wind, with around 40-45kph on the computer. And then the turn into wind for the return leg was hard hard. The speed quickly dropped to 25-30 kph. But, all in all a good morning on the bike.

Just back from a 55K around the hills of NE Lancs. It's very slippery out there as well and there were a couple of occasions where I had quite bad rear wheel slippage including one time as a rare car was overtaking me. I managed to wrestle it back under control in time but it does give you a bit of a scare, doesn't it?
