First time out today for a couple of months, 35 km out and about to Lynn and Longcross. Hillier than I remember! but completed in an hour and 12 minutes. Felt good to be out on the road again

I had a wee bit of a session last night so it was nothing big. I cycled the 15.5 miles to my sisters to give my nephew the cycle computer I got for doing the Pedal for Scotland ride. After a few hours I then cycle the 1.5 miles from her house to my parents had dinner then cycled home in the dark. I used my heavier commuting bike as it has tonnes of mounting points for lights so I was lit like the proverbially Christmas tree. It seemed to work, as only one car approached with its full beam on and it dipped them quickly.

9.5 miles night ride. Went on a stag night last night that kept me out till 2 am. Went to a hackey match with Mrs CP, her team won 5-3. Came home and crashed on the sofa. Got up and went out on the commuter bike with lights for a nice night ride. Saw a deer on one of the lanes nearby, would have missed that sat watching Come Prancing, or drinking in a pub.

Yesterday I went out on the hills in Lancashire for a 85miles ride, came back via Preston and it wasn't too bad coming through the town. Average speed was 15.3mph which I think is the fastest average I've managed on anything but a pancake flat ride.

Did the Grand Prix De Gents today 20mile 2 up TT. Abit cold, no real wind and i was feeling good.
We did it in 52.something. I'll put the time up later, which put us second place overall(out of 3, not far from the 1st place time) but 1st overall because of the handicap thingy. Cant remember what the word was now, something to do with the age difference and me being the youngest.
Route had a few bumps in, but i kept up and had to ease off up the climbs so i didnt drop the senior rider.
14mile warm up, then a 9mile ride home with a long hill.
Feeling pretty good:biggrin:
Was 52.27:biggrin:

30 miler out towards Doncaster. None of this predicted fog but perfect weather. Busy roads though in places. Might go out for another ride in the afternoon to get in the metric in a day and and most this year.

Only did 45 miles today after a fast flat 30 yesterday. Chose a very lumpy ride today and was terrorised by a tractor later on which was doing 20mph flat out so I'd get away on the flat and then he'd start crawling back on the climbs. My legs were burning like hell. A few miles later going up another long hill I thought he was long gone in a diffrent direction, and then I heard him coming up fast again. I just about made it to the top before he got to his farm. He was loving it
