Been out on a short ride today. I left mine down to the cycle centre and went round the Verderers Trial, 12.5 miles, 1hr 27mins and 8.5 avg speed. Best bit about the ride was seeing a Squirrel with a tennis ball in it's mouth haha

I actually took the time to take some pics this time:

I went out with the Club again to somewhere near Peat Inn, it was very still when we left the Glen Gates at the start but it was very windy as we got home, 19mph winds according to the met, I think we made it home before the 30mph gusts though. We normally come back with the wind but folk fancied a change; its nearly always a prevailing west wind.

Edit: Coincidently the Kinesis seen it 10,000th mile today :becool:

A superb days cycling in the autumn sunshine, the fixed wheel forum ride, organised by our colinj, just over 50 miles on a circler route starting and finishing at Meriden and including a stop at the garden centre by Charlecote house. Total mileage 77, autumn sunshine, good company and quiet country lanes what could be better, tired but happy tonight.

I had a fantastic 70 mile ride in the Autumn sunshine. I think this will probably me my last ride this year in shorts and short sleeved top! Almost perfect cycling weather. Most cars were well behaved and the traffic was light. As always, it was hilly, I cannot go far from where I live without going up onto the North Downs. But I have now found a new favourite route, that is very quiet and scenic.
