50 mile reliability hell ride... My fault.. Mk3 Moulton and a very hilly route, including the dreaded Stanford Bank near Great Whitley in Worcestershire. The 40 mph descent from Clifton on Teme was scary but joyful ;) ..
Got dropped after 5 miles but was not dead last, there were 5 or 6 behind me at the end including my mate who at stopped for a bacon butty at his grannies only 3 miles from the finish..... twit..
My time was 3hrs 15 minutes so fairly pleased really, considering the 35lb bike with 1-3/8's wide winter tyres

Bit icey on the roads round here, especially first thing. The ice prevented us from going "round the hill" (note NOT over ;)) in the lanes so the cafe stop was altered to one we thought we could do on slightly less icey roads. We made it for T and T cakes and rode back through the lanes where the ice was rather more slushy now. 57 (s)miles. Just wonderful to get out and about despite the cold

Did this climb in Wales yesterday ;), It was a real grind getting to the top of that 33% climb, most of the strength needed just to keep the on the bike and in a straight line.

Mine sounds like Noodleys...not much mileage lately, so a 10 to 15 miler after work while it's still light (and comparatively warm )...along the river nene.

First decent ride (albeit shortish) in a long while...i've slacked somewhat

For the first time in i cant remember how long...i got wet...very ;)
Water cascading off the bottom of the front mudguard made my feet soaking, and yet its not cold, so i dont mind.

How many times do you get wet a year ? Its not that many for me when i think about it !

Yep, I did 40 miles round the south downs yesterday and it pissed down, first time I've got really soaked in ages, don't know which I prefer; heavy rain or sub zero temperatures:sad:
