Never seen so many pot holes.

Yip, same scenario for me. 1st time out on the road bike ths year and the state of some of the roads is shocking:sad: Despite that got a nice 52 miles on mainly very quiet roads and it stayed dry although it was cold and dreich

The roads are bad, there has been some great patching up near me, but many routes just have these big 6" holes.

Not been out today, couldn't be bothered with the constant drizzle.

Bah. No ride for me. From Tue - Fri I couldn't move very well because I had a bad back and then I woke up on Fri am with a sore throat which turned into a chest infection.

Bad luck Kirstie.

I've had to bide my time since the end of November before being able to get out for an Audax. Today made it all worthwhile.

I'm around seven Audaxes down on my target for the season and I doubt that I'll catch up. Might start commuting to claim the miles back....

A rather hellish reintroduction to club rides after a few weeks not doing them...
Round Bredon Hill from Malvern. 60 miles. Good turn out for a change..
I chose to ride my Mk 3 Moulton which weighs an absolute ton and has winter tyres, oh dear my legs hurt. .
Yep .. lots of pot holes to dodge so it was handy having suspension for the ones I fell into

Down the track at Newport tomorrow... get some speed back into my legs again.. I hope..

A "nice" lumpy 67 miler on our fixed with an extra hard push for the last 15 miles, great ride. What made it even better was it started to rain just as we reached home. 5 - 6C, a good temperature for quick riding. 50 miles last Sunday so at long last heading in the right direction, but look out for return to the cold by the end of the week.

40.5km at an average of 23.7kph, with a Cafe stop at half way.

Rubbish, I know. But it's my first ride for a long time.

Had to go down to London Colney for training. 66km round trip. Last time I went by bus (in the snow) and had to get out of bed an hour earlier.
I tried to use quiet back roads, but during the rush hour there is no such thing. Each and every lane is a rat-run.

Cut up by one impatient driver :becool: who quickly got told in no uncertain terms..'more room please' at the next TLs

Bugger, i havnt done much decent mileage in 2 months, but, its a start back in the right direction. Just got to find some time for some decent mileage. Its going to be a long haul....
