So , nippy yesterday was it ? How things have changed.
I was lured out by the Spring-like conditions to do my 100km ride for December. Did about 50 km with a grin on my face , then things took a turn for the worse. I ended up cycling the last 20 km in pouring rain.

45 Mile today, out into County Durham to Lanchester and took in some of the climbs on the ToB. Nice day but a bit chilly on the tops.

Wet, kinda warm & not windy, quite a nice ride actually

Getting really fed up with the bit of velcro which is the 'mounting' for the Exposure red-eye, I got kinda dazzled by one that was in completely the wrong position, told the rider who adjusted it & we both agreed it's a c**p 'design'.

18 mile extended commute. Breezy when i set out, but the wind strengthened as time went on. Plenty of traffic...that's about it really ;)
Nothing else to report !
May have beaten the chillblains problem. I've been blaming it on my feet getting too cold while riding. Then it's occured to me i take my shoes off and walk on a (cold) wood floor when i get in. Been putting an extra pair of socks on when i get in...havn't suffered anywhere near as much.

11 and a bit miles before I went to work. Wet and windy and my Waterproof gloves aren't it seems:sad: Still enjoyed it though:smile:

Usual 6 mile commute in this evening.
Very little wind, crsip clear evening.
Clear skies reflecting a full moon over the Bay

(That was on top of my 1,800 metre swim this morning)

Just got back from a quick 18 miles alongside the river nene...forecast says 10mph winds...bloody liars
Bright and sunny, just about the right temperature.

My rides seem short lately, and i dont know how i'm going to get on with longer rides again  Must try to find the time and make the effort.

35 miles to visit dentist and back.
No dramas and 1 new toof.. well re enameled for gratis.
Came back thru a small town where I had a nice bike lane which allowed against a 1 way system and my very own bike traffic light... very nice despite 'head down' no see see pedestrians.

Put the Spesh Rival on the MTB to see if it gave me a few more inches on the reach . it didnt , and it's still crap anyway.. well for me it is... for anyone else who wants to buy. it is a WONDERFUL saddle.
Thank you weather forecast for getting it actually correct today!!

In town 2 motorists completely ignore my right of way & second one while RLJed ended up with a SPD SL pedal shaped hole in his front bumper (not my pedal). Out of town however it was a great ride, a little over-dressed thus rather hot n' sweaty, but once the sun went in it got cool enough to be pleasant.
