Hilly 16 miles - bit misty up in the peak and a little fresh - back before 9am - knocked 3 mins off previous times - might be best bike doing that.....

42 miles this morning to scout out Mow Cop before the Cheshire Cat. It's not that bad. Steep yes but mercifully short. Could be a problem if it's busy and people are stopping part way up etc. And I think I'll be wishing I had something lower than my 39-25 on the day:laugh:

A moderately paced 14 miles to LBS for some string backed gloves then along the Leeds Liverpool canal and back home. Cracking weather and would have loved to have stayed out longer but too much to do today.

Meandering around the back lanes. After which I changed the new B17 narrow saddle for a new Swift and menadered a bit more - the improvement was astonishing.

I think the problem with the B17 is that my bars are rather low (and sporty!) for which the Swift is more suitable.

Tisk 39 x 25 - done it on a 42 x 21 - not that bad really as it's dead steady...

PS I have a 39 x 21 these days.....

You'll need the 25 for Swiss Hill if it's busy - I do it on the 39 x 21, but I'm on my own and have a clear run.

York to Selby and back, via Cawood and at top speed. Very flat but quite windy. Am getting fitter, I think.

Won't be able to ride again til Wednesday at earliest.

75 miles through Angus and Perthshire. Lovely sunshine but still quite cold, although I managed to ride back with only mitts for the first time this year.
