Its dry, theres no salt left on the roads...the Bianchi's back out
Bugger, its so light and responsive, so fast to accelerate compared with the winter bike...
Only a short commute today, but not affected by the headwind...i drafted a bus 90% of the way. It must have been one of my quickest commutes for ages.

I had a really pleasurable 17 mile commute in this morning... not too cold, not too warm, sunny most of the way. Set me up nicely for the day. ;)

A nature lovers delight ... Mandarin ducks , Pochards , Green Woodpeckers , Swans flying over my head.
Pity I stuck my front wheel in to a ditch in an unguarded moment , but I'll recover !

Went out yesterday for a training run - 17.82 miles at 18mph average (first time out on my own for donkeys years) - should hpefully be enough for the curcuit races that I am going to enter.

Enjoyed the ride, first time out in shorts this year:biggrin::biggrin:, but I did still have three layers on my body. ONly one idiot overtake so all in all it was pretty good:biggrin:

24 miles at a fast pace (for me)...maybe 16 to 17 mph average which considering i hav'nt been giving it some for a while, isnt bad.
City riding, nothing pleasurabe to see, but plenty of play keeping ( and sometimes not ) up with the traffic.
One layer too many perhaps...bit too sweaty.

17 miles quick jaunt over the Mendips. Too much surface mud! Very slow turns.

There's still some odd bits of frozen snow up there!

I took a slightly longer route in to work this evening, which took me along the embankment in central London, loads of bright light's and people wearing Psychadellic clothes mixed in with office totty rushing in to bars for drink's. Enjoyed every minute of it.:biggrin::biggrin:

13 miles this morning for the grocery shopping (dragging Uncle James along, he doesn't get out on his trike much).

Then this afternoon I had to go to The Range, one of those shops that just has everything. Where else could I go and find the following under one roof but without the supermarket experience: large tub of mixed herbs, pack of 12 pencils with erasers on the end, bag of 50 Tealights and bike lock, all for £7.46? Have decided to try to overhaul Ianrauk on Cyclogs so did a lot of miles to return home, 25 in total for this ride, so doing well today. However I think I may have to award myself a rest day tomorrow so will slip back again in the mileage race...
