Nice capture ! You can’t have ‘stumbled’ across these ? I’m presuming you hankered down in prep for a while ? Brilliant shots whatever 🙏

I was in a wood above Burrator just walking slowly and quietly looking for fungi.

It’s a conifer plantation on old farm land. There was a drystone wall about 10 feet in front of me. I knelt down, took my macro lens off, went in my bag for my big lens and then stood up slowly. After a few shots I lay on the wall, but I kept sliding backwards!

I was stood up in the open when the buck came through. He was thinking of skirt!
