A green shield bug stuck in a dog water bowl. I rescued him.

A heron in one of the ponds in Rushmere St. Andrew. As I was moving slowly round to get a better picture it was disturbed by another pedestrian and flew off.

Took the two grandkids on a ride, 3yo in a seat on my bike, 8 yo on her bike, into local woodland, explore and see what's to see.
Squirrels, lots of them...

Very friendly, they come scampering up yo you, get within a yards distance. I gather people are feeding them

So today I have visited Gigrin Farm in Wales. It’s here that they feed Red Kites.

It was an amazing experience, sometimes a little bit overwhelming. I had the biggest smile, and on a few occasions I had to put my camera down and just watch a couple of hundred kites piling in one on top of the other.

The white kite is a Red Kite, but it’s leucistic, this means that some of the pigment is not there. Apparently there are 3 in the area, and 10 in the world.
