Walking on the Beach this Morning: I spotted this Deer. 100+ yards from the Heather, Bracken and Woods you expect to normally find it - at one point.

It clearly noticed me and the hound (A hundred and fifty plus yards away ?) and didn’t seem fazed at all…..

Our list is similar. I’ve not had Yellowhammer or nuthatch but have noted grey wagtail, pheasants, mistle thrush, Jay and various gulls. This one had me puzzled, think it’s an escaped canary but was never quite sure!

A crab killing ground (all the white bits are crab body parts)

Not actually wildlife as the poor bugger was deader than a Norwegian Blue, but Brock was still laid beside the Heighington bypass this morning.
I spotted him yesterday, freshly dead in the gutter. Suspiciously, a Heron frozen foods van had just pulled into the layby opposite and had me wondering if he was going to get out and chuck it in the back. Coming soon to a freezer near you .
