I saw 4 Ravens way above our garden on Saturday . There seemed to be a bit of a get together as they parted and went off in different directions .

Yes, it seems to be a thing they do at this time of year. There were 6 here the other day, but then we are close to the black mountains.

I have been watching a female Sparrowhawk that perched near the top of an ash tree at the bottom of our garden . She was there for a good half hour . Several Goldfinches flew over the tree and one perched there for a couple minutes before flying off . I don't know if it realized it's mistake . I assume that the Sparrowhawk eventually flew off as she isn't there now .

My new SquirrelBuster feeders are doing their job frustrating squirrels but feeding birds, which took to them remarkably quickly, particularly the seed feeder. Hoping for a woodpecker on the peanut feeder before long; they're currently a very infrequent visitor.
