Today's surprise sighting aof a grass snake

Yes! And the rest are Little Egrets/Herons.


The Herons seemed uncomfortable with each other, alternately each one appearing to take flight, flying around in a loop and swooping low over the other Herons, almost as if it's attempting to drive the other herons away.

It is. I’m not sure if it’s a reportable species.

I saw 4 Ravens way above our garden on Saturday . There seemed to be a bit of a get together as they parted and went off in different directions .

Today, at Willen Lake, MK. Maybe because it was used to people, but I was able to slowly walk within 10' of it before it flew off.
