Fungi in a pot of aubergines. Cap diameter c. 1cm
Saw a solitary seal at St. Mary's Lighthouse today. Quite unusual as you usually see a whole rookery, but this fella was flying solo. I'm no expert but it did look to be in some discomfort.
There are usually wardens around so hopefully someone will be alerted if there is a problem.

Well I never, didn't know the collective noun for seals could be a "rookery", how bizarre.
I saw a Peregrine Falcon flying low between the houses when I was at my brother's yesterday . It was nice to see that they are still around .
They always seem to pop up unexpectedly!
Thanks to @Dave 123 I now know this is a plume moth, but which one? I never realised there were so many species in the UK.
Tentatively identified as a Beautiful Plume, but possibly a Brindled Plume.
