Was really looking forward to Taboo, but it just isn't working for me. I think it's Tom Hardy - can't think of anything I've watched with him in where I haven't had to strain to understand what he's saying.

No Offence - back for series 2, which is even better than the original (so far).
Unforgotten - see No Offence
Silent Witness - stopped watching this as it started to get very preachy, but gave the current run a chance and have really enjoyed it even if much of it is still a bit far fetched.

Let it Shine - not my choice of show, but what can you do? Suggest that the 'n' in the title is replaced with a 't' and they might be nearer the mark. BBC1 using the licence fee to do all the pre-event advertising for Gary Barlow's new theatre show, while Gary Barlow and Dannii Minogue do their best to remind us why they were sacked from the X Factor...

I accept that the BBC Sherlock isn't to everone's taste, but thought it brilliant and gripping. Toby Jones brilliant as always, and playing a very different character for his usual. One of the best actors around, and the regulars all pretty good as well. Loved the twist at the end - not seen that coming
I'd been thoroughly enjoying it up until the Victorian episode. From that episode 'til now... they've all had one twist too many, then they threw a couple more in for good measure. As i say, upped the ante and lost the plot.

We are following No Offence, terrific viewing. In the last series I was right about the bad guy from the beginning so no great suprise, still an excellent series though.

In a few minutes we will be watching the final part of the series about Thailand. It makes me whimper to be there.

Time you enjoyed wasting was not wasted
Just got round to watching Boardwalk Empire... why did I leave it so long... up there with The Sopranos... defiantly 10 out of 10
I've also just started watching Boardwalk Empire after having the box set since last May. Watched the first 4 episodes so far. I agree with you that it is looking excellent. I get a bit confused trying to figure out some of the mob characters in the first episode, but it seems to be getting a bit clearer as it goes on.

Steve Buscemi plays the main character superbly, and Stephen Graham plays Al Capone well despite in reality having a strong scouse accent.

Boardwalk Empire is absolutely superb. I love Steve Buscemi and it was great to see him in a starring role for a change, he's a great actor. So is Steve Graham, but I do think he's a bit typecast.

I stumbled across a programme based on spelling the other day - children competing to spell more words than each other while Mel and Su get all enthusiastic and Moira Stewart adds a bit of tension. It was all a bit bizarre.
Anyway, I'm actually enjoying watching The OA on netflix at the mo. Last episode to watch tonight - hope it doesn't disappoint. It's really intriguing and explores near death experiences, although it's getting a little bit too mystical for my analytical mind!
