My sister put me on to No Offence, which seems to have rather slipped under the radar of public awareness, but after three episodes I have to say it seems to me to be in the best traditions of British cop drama, and taking it very capably into new areas, with some excellent scripts, great characters and impeccable acting.

I don't watch much TV, but I did see Chaos On The Bridge, on the plane last week. A documentary about the TV program Star Trek, The Next Generation. Good fun and if you like your Star Trek, you'll find it interesting.

It's on the Tube of U

Agreed. Perfect mix of comedy and tragedy. The first episode of the latest series got some dust in both my eyes. Should have pride of place on one of the main channels, but no, apparently Mrs Brown's Boys is better. FFS.

A recent discovery has been the Great British Interior Design Challenge.

Lordy is it entertaining, though I don't think it's meant to be a comedy. Imagine changing rooms with earnest presenters and judges throwing all kinds of pretentious design claptrap around and you get the idea.

Bobby & Tina - the Bobby Moore story.

Watched the first two last night and one more to go - not sure if we'll bother with the last one

Disappointed - it's a 'skim' type of series. The timeline moves very fast and consequently the plot is very thin. The characterisation is weak. Michelle Keagan is a pretty face but her acting is poor - she was poor in 'Our Girl' too.

same here... gave up after the first series due to them being the three most annoying pretentious twunts I've ever had the displeasure to watch.

Father Brown. I love period dramas and gentle whodunnits and I can relate to the undertone of Catholicism. Pity it's only on every New Year.

A :okay: from me for Father Brown too - it's repeated (a lot) on channels like Alibi throughout the year too...

Endeavour was excellent again last night - clashed with Apple Tree Yard which I've downloaded for later, although I heard it was a bit saucy

The latest series of Hawaii 5-0 continues to be as good, in a ridiculous way, as ever.

Eastenders is banned from tainting the tv along with the other dross soaps, so clicking the channel over I've come across this programme a couple of times.

It really is cringe worthy, bunch of peanuts (contestants and judges). It was that bad we had to watch it in awe how far they were up their own arses..
