I really like The Man in the High Castle, there's some great characters in it, Rufus Sewell is excellent. The look of the whole thing is really well done too. Engaging story with lots going on. Looking forward to Season 3.

Does it bear any resemblence to the book, beyond the obvious point of the Nazis having won the war? Or is it just a "freedom fighters versus, what, 'the Empire' " so to speak?"

I really enjoyed The Man In The High Castle, the second season more than the first. I have to watch it with subtitles though as I often fail to understand what the Trade Minister says.

I've got a couple of episodes of Goliath left, that is good.

Best show of 2016 IMO was Stranger Things.

vikings..i just love this

Seen Vikings pop up a few times, I really need to watch it! All I know is that the music is done by the truly excellent Wardruna. Check out their Runaljod trilogy of albums, based on the ancient Norse runes.

Oh dear God... making more than one series of that pile of tosh was bad enough. Surely Keifer Sutherland's got better things to do than running around with a toy gun and apologising to every fecker he meets (or shoots).

Last night i wasted another 90mins watching the latest series of Sherlock... they've upped the ante and lost the plot.

I accept that the BBC Sherlock isn't to everone's taste, but thought it brilliant and gripping. Toby Jones brilliant as always, and playing a very different character for his usual. One of the best actors around, and the regulars all pretty good as well. Loved the twist at the end - not seen that coming

We too thought Taboo seemed very promising and dark. Slightly distracted by expectcting Tom Hardy to call Bullseye at some point, though he didn't quite manage Oliver Reed's menace and charisma. Still, so far, so good.

Gave up on Vikings. Well enough acted but very slow awaiting the fully telegraphed next thing to happen over several episodes, and mere scenery doesn't quite fill the wait. Reminded me a bit of the recent Macbeth film -good Dark Age look, but c'mon guys, move it along a bit. and generally Ì like slow films
