Just watched Mondays episode of 'The Crash Detectives'...............
Harrowing, as it always is, but intriguing, how the end result is reached

Woop woop !!!

The BBC have made available nearly ALL (edit: except Unearthly Child sadly, due to some dispute) the extant episodes of Classic Doctor Who. Including the animated recreations that's 643 episodes.

That's me busy for the next few months

Watched the Beckham documentary on Netflix last night. Really interesting, and offers some genuine insight into the life and stresses of being a player with his sort of profile.

Highly recommended even if you're not a football fan.

just started series 2 of Foundation, based on Asimov's books. Never read them so no idea how faithful this TV show is, and I can barely remember what happened in series 1... so I'm kind of winging it and hoping it all slots into place at some point

Foundation turned out to be bloody brilliant. Everything came together in the last four episodes which i guess takes us to the end of the Foundation & Empire novel. I hope there's another series.

We've started watching the Long Shadow (ITV X) - drama series based on the Yorkshire Ripper. Cast is very good, lots of familiar faces if you've ever watched Corrie or Emmerdale. We're really enjoying it.

I really enjoyed it and it put me on a miserable 70s/80s yorkshire hunt so I watched Red Riding Trilogy next. I've seen it before but had forgotten most of it, its set across 1970/80s west yokshire, the second episode in particular features the ripper strongly. However the main story is fictional and interwoven with events of the time.

Boiling Point - the 4part TV series, spun off from the "1-take" kitchen drama starring Stephen Graham.

2 episodes in. Blimey. It's like the most intense episodes of ER, but with no ad-breaks and more knives.

Brilliantly done, and some great moments/performances; but jiminy, I'm on edge all the time! We're halfway now, so I'll definitely stick it out, but it's no good for my nerves, I tell yee ...

we started to watch that but I found it too intense and had to switch off. All future ideas of me working in the food industry have been scrapped! Very good acting but just stressed me out too much

We saw the film, which was utterly brilliant, but i wasn't sure I could watch the series. Perhaps we'll give it a go

Yes - we have just finished it
We have seen proper documentaries before and knew the way it was all done
but the docu-drama treatment really emphasised the problems and ways of thinking

the final scene with all the photos and photo-fits was quite telling!

Where I worked we had a Transit Mini Bus, any women on the 2-10pm shift that worked over would automatically get a lift home, this continued for years after Sutcliffe was caught, such was the fear round these parts
