We've been watching "the Silent Sea" on netflix. It's a Korean sci fi with the premise that water has somehow disappeared from Earth and there's a mission to a Lunar base abandoned after an accident to recover vital samples of "lunar water" with magical properties which will save Earth. After a good looking but ho-hum first episode, it is worth persisting and really rather good and got better and better. You just have to suspend belief on the properties of the lunar water, but in fairness, it's self consistent so I can accept the hokum. The initially one dimensional characters grow on you, and even the "baddies" have their reasons, and the ending is suitably open and ambiguous rather than pulling some rabbit out of a hat.

I guess it's not a huge spoiler to say it's reminiscent of the Doctor Who story Waters of Mars.

Anyhow, one of best looking modern sci-fis and recommended if you like that sort of thing.

Series 4 of Cobra Kai didn't disappoint, although every member of the Larusso family are becoming increasingly punchable.

not sure what to start next... Wentworth's finale, Book of Boba Fett, Witcher series 2... choices, choices

For no reason other than I can, I'm gonna start Game of Thrones from the beginning.

I remember quite liking it, particularly the couple of episodes directed by Neil Marshall but don't remember much else beyond incest, boobs and violence.

Following up on this, I'm absolutely flying through it. Couple episodes into series 6, so I'll soon be into the unknown. There's a lot of traipsing around, and Sansa looking wistfully out of windows, but as TV goes it's impressive stuff.

It's worth watching for Peter Dinklage alone.
