Wife and myself just finished the latest offering (series 4 ?) of Ozark.
Good, really quite good and the final final scenes from Ruth, apoplectic with rage, almost put a lump in my throat so well was it acted.

Just sat through four episodes of Murder In The Valleys.

Don't know if it was clever production or the evidence shown but still can't make my mind up if Dai Morris was guilty.

I’m slowly getting through this on season 2 just now. Slow burner to start with for me but it’s good now .

Sometimes I wonder why, as the editing/narration is absolutely dire, with scenes showing a recovery all rigged and ready to commence, 10 seconds later, it's as though they've just arrived at the incident

There's a nicely shot sequence, where the Andorian ship pulls Enterprise out of danger, & as they hail the Enterprise, we see the back of Captain Archers head, with a pair of blue antenna appearing, as Shran is heard (then seen) on the view-screen

Just finished the new Jack Reacher series on Amazon. Excellent series. A much better lead man, more in keeping with the books with a dash of humour thrown in.

enjoying Reacher 4 episodes in. I have read quite a few of the books, but not this ne, which is good. Casting in very good. Tom cruise version was so far off.

also watching Trigger Point and liking that
Just started watching this too, I'm a huge fan of the books so am really pleased we finally have a credible Reacher... Unlike the film version with the little hobbit playing him ^_^
He is a little too pretty really but other than that he's perfect.

I enjoyed this series a lot more than the films as it does try and follow the book fairly closely.

I found the final episode disappointing though. I thought they drifted away from the book somewhat to create a cataclysmic, James Bond style ending which was totally unnecessary.

On the whole a great effort though.

I was really looking forward to the forth series of ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ but have given up halfway through the second episode.

There’s something different about this series that I can’t quite put my finger on. :headshake:

I didn't last long with that, not even sure I got through the first series. Whilst it did have it's undeniable moments, I found the main character to be a little too self-aware/smug and it eventually wore me down.

Snap. Also, for a series built entirely around a comedian, it would have helped if she was funny.

I think there's a problem generally when a show is a vehicle for someone's ego. I first thought it with both David Caruso and Gary Sinise in their respective CSI shows but it probably extends to a number of franchise shows - a kind of 'my money, my rules' direction dictat.

Two series to go of Peaky Blinders. It all gets a bit far-fetched in series 3, but Paddy Considine as the insidious priest kept me going. I think that was as far as I got last time, so I'm going to see the story out. Some parts are a lot more brutal than I remember them being.
